She became the youngest bureau chief appointed by the SABC, running its London bureau, before moving to CNN, BBC World and CNBC.

She was one of the founding anchors of Al Jazeera English, helping launch the international news channel from Doha.

After returning to South Africa, she presented on eNCA before joining Primedia.
Today she host’s EWN’s daily bulletin The Day that Was, presents news for Eyewitness News and is a regular voice on 702.
